From April till October, 2017 exhibition “ Potter days 2017”
Potter days traditionally is meeting of ceramists and their work admirers. This event unites all ceramists of Latgale – the ones that have acquired their trade in schools, the ones that learned from a craftsman as well as the ones that are learning on their own to work with clay. The exhibition shows the ceramic ware of Latgalian craftsmen of ceramics with the ware that have been made in the last year. Magnificent glazed and different reduced ceramics, the ware made using potter’s wheel as well as hand-building method, daily usage dishes as well as fancy ceramics can be seen.
